The role
As a Junior Website Content & Support Assistant, you’ll be working closely with the Website Product Owner to support the day-to-day running and improvement of our websites kapowprimary.com and kapowinternational.com. Training will be provided, but you’ll need a proactive mindset and willingness to learn.
This is a hybrid role based in London. You will be expected to work from our London Bridge office 3–4 days per week, so applicants must be within commuting distance.

What you will do
* Copying and pasting text from PDFs into the website in WordPress
* Adding alternative text (alt-text) to images for accessibility
* Creating simple web pages using provided content
* Writing metadata and page descriptions to improve search visibility
* Spot checking uploaded content follows our house style guide
* Assisting with minor technical issues (with support and training)
* Supporting the product team with ad-hoc website-related tasks.

About You
This role will suit someone who wants to develop practical digital skills. You’ll have an eye for detail, enjoy problem-solving, and be happy to roll up your sleeves on repetitive but important tasks. Over time, you’ll gain experience working with WordPress and SEO, while contributing to the smooth running of a busy educational website.

You will have
  • 0 - 2 years of relevant work experience (entry-level, training provided)
  • Any previous experience with websites, WordPress, or content editing is a bonus, but not essential
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to follow a style guide and spot inconsistency in tone and formatting
  • Self-starter with the initiative to solve problems independently
  • Comfortable with repetitive tasks and managing workload methodically
  • Interest in learning about websites, WordPress, and digital publishing
  • Basic understanding of accessibility and SEO (or willingness to learn)
  • Good written communication skills
