Job Description
Job title: WTC Theology Thames Valley Hub Director
Location: Kerith Community Church, Bracknell Site with travel to Cheltenham offices for WTC and residential learning twice a year in central UK locations.
Hours of work: 1.5 days per week, including Hub Evenings on Tuesdays (5-10pm) and monthly Kerith Team Meeting (1st Tuesday of the month) 10-11am. Remaining 5.5 hours can be flexed to suit delivery

Salary: £7,620 - £8,400 (£25,400 FTE - £28,000 FTE) dependent on qualifications and experience
Job purpose
To develop an effective worshipping and learning community at our Bracknell (Thames Valley) Hub by ensuring reliable delivery of WTC content & community; pastoral care for local students as related to their studies; and marketing connections with churches in the area for recruiting future students to the Hub.
Main duties
Hub Delivery
· Ensure that effective and intimate worship happens each week with appropriate prayer ministry
· Design and manage extracurricular Personal Formation Programme with local practitioners
· Liaise with WTC with respect to programming and canned / Video conference content
· Ensure proper set up (and take down) of facilities for the Hub night
· Manage the local Hub library, including annual stock take
· Host occasional Masters Training Saturdays
Marketing
· Develop and implement a local marketing strategy in line with the WTC Marketing Strategy 2018-2024
· Together with the Hub Church Leader(s), identify and maximise entry points for establishing and building networks of contacts to communicate WTC in the region
· Develop and maintain relationships with (potential) feeder churches in the region
· Deal with potential student enquiries in a professional, friendly and efficient manner
· Facilitate Regional Faculty Hub visits including Taster Evenings, other faculty and Director of Ops visits and meetings with local church leaders to promote WTC
· Support WTC at national events, e.g. conferences
Pastoral
· Liaise with Church leaders and/or the WTC Chaplain (at Residentials) in the event of any major pastoral issues
· Offer support and encouragement to students so that they are not overwhelmed with the stresses of studying. This will include ensuring that students know how to access study skills, faculty and pastoral support
Other
· Contribute to weekly video-conference calls for all HDs
· Be the primary point of contact between WTC and the local Hub Church(es)/conference centre
· Contribute to the strategic / operational development of WTC as skill-sets allow
· Attend 3 HD Training Days a year, which take place at the two Residentials and in June
· As part of Kerith’s Office Team, support Kerith Office Team events (such as the monthly team meeting) as required. Represent Kerith’s vision and values in relating to the team, leadership, Kerith church and wider churches.
