| Purpose of the role |
The Workspace Coordinator will meticulously run and manage Artiq’s art storage unit and support with office management at HQ as needed, including:
· Managing the warehouse in compliance with Artiq policies.
· Overseeing receiving, handing out and storage of artworks and related comms.
· Maintaining accurate stock records.
· Assisting Technicians and Project Delivery team as required.
· Assisting Group EA with ad hoc office management duties as required at HQ.

| Key Responsibilities |
· Serve as the primary point of contact for artists and couriers delivering to and collecting from the warehouse.
· Maintain the warehouse space, keeping it tidy and in good working order, including liaising with trades people and warehouse owners on maintenance issues.
· Assist with project paperwork and logistics, including but not limited to, creating purchase orders and organising transport and couriers.
· Maintain the storage system, ensuring efficient space utilisation.
· Gather artwork and materials for Technicians according to the install calendar and Project Managers’ instructions, ensuring that they are well prepared for all jobs.
· Manage stock control and reconcile with internal storage database (Airtable) as well as Artiq’s artwork database (Swan).
· Where necessary, repair or re-frame artworks in Artiq’s collection.
· Purchase and maintain a stock of tools, fixings and supplies for Technicians’ usage.
· Condition check artworks arriving in the warehouse and maintain records for insurance purposes.
· Meet regularly with Project Delivery team to assess, analyse and develop actionable plans for loss prevention and productivity.
· Work with Project Delivery team and the Artist Liaison to contact artists for the collection of artworks in long term storage.
· Work with the Senior Technician to keep the Artiq van clean and well stocked.
· Assist Technicians on-site with client installs as needed.
· Maintain excellent standards of health and safety, hygiene and security.
· Assist Group EA with key office-based events such as quarterly townhalls.
· Backfill basic workplace/office management responsibilities such as ordering supplies when Group EA is away.

· Proven work experience as a fine art Technician and/or a Warehouse Technician.

· Strong decision-making, organisation and problem-solving skills.
· Excellent communication skills.
· UK full driving license (some support driving our Artiq van may be required).
