Are you a hands-on leader who takes pride in a well-run, high-performing warehouse? We’re looking for a Warehouse Manager to lead our busy tile warehouse at Antrim, driving standards, improving processes, and developing a team of 4–5 warehouse operatives. This is a great opportunity for someone who leads by example and thrives in a fast-moving, quality-focused environment.

A bit about the role

  • Lead, motivate, and develop a team of 4–5 warehouse operatives, setting high standards and leading by example.
  • Oversee daily warehouse operations including goods-in, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
  • Ensure tiles and other materials are handled safely and with care to minimise damage.
  • Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment at all times.
  • Monitor stock accuracy through regular cycle counts and stock checks, investigating discrepancies and implementing corrective actions.
  • Use stock-control systems accurately to maintain up-to-date inventory records.
  • Drive team performance against KPIs, identify areas for improvement, and support the team to deliver consistently.
  • Support the Warehouse & Distribution Manager with KPI reporting and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Manage the customer collections counter, overseeing the operative on the counter to ensure accurate orders and efficient customer service.
  • Ensure full compliance with all health & safety rules, procedures, and manual-handling standards across the team.

A bit about you

  • Previous supervisory or team leader experience in a warehouse, logistics, or building-materials environment.
  • A natural leader who sets high standards, leads by example, and gets the best from their team.
  • Sound knowledge of health & safety and manual-handling practices, with the ability to enforce safe working standards.
  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Proactive and hands-on, with a focus on quality, reducing damage, and continuous improvement.
  • Calm, reliable, and able to prioritise effectively in a fast-moving environment.
  • Comfortable using stock-control systems and basic IT tools.
  • Physical capability to safely lift and handle heavy tile boxes in line with manual-handling guidelines.
  • Forklift Experience – desirable but not essential.

Working Hours

  • Full-time position, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm. Flexibility to work beyond core hours as required to ensure the job is done – any overtime is paid at the standard hourly rate.
  • Saturday morning working on a rota basis is also required.
