Thank you for you for taking the first step in volunteering with us. We cover a wide area in Braintree and the South of Essex, with offices in Basildon, Brentwood, Corringham, Grays, Purfleet, Rayleigh, Rochford, Tilbury and Witham.
We have a rolling programme of volunteer recruitment.
Here's why you should join our team:
You will be part of a supportive team: Our volunteers come from all walks of life, but they all share a commitment to helping others. You'll have the opportunity to learn from others and build meaningful relationships with like-minded people who share your passion for making a difference.
You'll gain valuable skills: As a volunteer, you'll receive comprehensive training and support to help you develop the skills you need to provide high-quality advice and support to our clients. You'll also have the opportunity to learn about the legal and social issues affecting our communities, which will broaden your understanding of the world around you.
You'll have flexibility: We understand that everyone has different schedules and commitments, which is why we offer a range of volunteer opportunities to suit your needs. Whether you can volunteer once a week or once a month, we welcome all those who are passionate about making a difference.
You'll be part of a respected organisation: Citizens Advice has been providing advice and support to people in the UK for over 80 years. When you volunteer with us, you'll be joining a network of respected professionals who are dedicated to making a positive impact in their communities.
