Core Requirements
- Sheffield-based or ability to commute.
- Videography and photography experience.
- Experience in storyboarding.
- Understanding of setting up a media studio including lights, cameras and audio.
- Experience with multimedia and video content strategy and conceptualisation.
- Familiarity with social media and what works on each platform, particularly TikTok, Instagram Reels and YouTube.
- Knowledge of aspect ratios for different social media exports.
- Understanding of editing and editing software, in particular the Adobe Suite, with confidence to piece together cinematic/ documentary style content.
- Experience with OBS and/or other video recording software.
- Strong content ideation and skills in creating original content that targets a specific audience and meets company objectives.
- Confidence to collaborate with players and content creators to obtain media.
- Ability to prioritise projects, work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Highly organised and proactive. Ability to use own initiative.
- Be a team player, able to work with others and get stuck into a variety of tasks.
- Willingness to travel as needed for work.
Desirable
- Understanding of the esports and gaming industry.
- Knowledge of Counter-strike, Rocket League and Quake.
- Knowledge of Endpoint and our professional teams and content creators.
- Utilisation of content calendars.
- Track record of growing content channels.
- Understanding of motion graphics.
- On occasions be flexible with your working hours to ensure deadlines are met.
Brief duties and responsibilities
- Serve as our primary videographer and photographer in the studio, during events and for a variety of projects.
- Work alongside the Media Team to produce high-quality content for a wide variety of social media platforms.
- Work alongside our Content Manager to develop an overall content strategy, and tailor this per platform and channel. Help evolve the Endpoint brands’ voices and images in line with branding and company goals.
- Work with our Content Manager and Head of Marketing to develop an editorial calendar. Strategise long-term content creation plans.
- Supervise several projects in various points of production from development through delivery.
- Set up the media studio including lights, camera and audio.
- Assist the Media and Social teams with scheduling and content for media days and LAN events as required.
- Help lead the direction of content during media days and LAN events, and create strategies to ensure the media is used effectively afterwards.
- Organise and record media with players and content creators, both online and in person.
- Stay on top of trending content, whilst also identifying new opportunities and coming up with original creative ideas.
- Put ideas into proposals to discuss with the rest of the team.
- Ensure that player and creator needs are met. Liaise with them when needed to get assets such as headshots.
- Work alongside the Social Team to distribute and schedule content.
- Work with Endpoint partners to create exclusive content and adhere to set KPIs.
- Collaborate with other Endpoint staff to complete tasks in a timely fashion.
