Manx Radio has been at the heart of Island life for more than 60 years as the Public Service Media Provider - informing, educating, entertaining and connecting our community every day. We're looking for talented, creative and enthusiastic people to help us continue this.
We're recruiting for a range of opportunities across our content team, with both permanent and freelance roles available. Whether you're an experienced broadcaster, a skilled content creator or someone with a passion for media and a willingness to learn, we'd love to hear from you.
This is a varied, hands-on role where no two days are the same. Depending on your skills and experience, you could be involved in:
- Presenting live radio programmes.
- Producing programmes and podcasts
- Creating engaging content for our social media channels
- Filming, editing and producing video content
- Supporting outside broadcasts from events across the Island
- Assisting with content creation across the station.
- Developing and delivering promotions and competitions.
- Creating artwork
- Supporting events, promotions and community initiatives.
- Helping with a variety of behind-the-scenes tasks that keep the station running smoothly.
We're looking for people who are creative, organised and adaptable, with a genuine enthusiasm for great content and local media. Strong communication skills, a positive attitude and the ability to work as part of a team are just as important as previous broadcasting experience.
Experience in broadcasting, media, content creation, production and marketing is desirable. At Manx Radio, you'll be part of a team that's passionate about telling the Island's stories, celebrating its people and delivering content that matters to our audience.
