University Outreach Worker 0.2 FTE £30000-32000 a year (Pro Rata) dependent on experience
The Rape and Sexual Abuse Support Centre (South London) is looking for a skilled, passionate and professional university outreach worker. The successful applicant will be expected to work one day per week between the core hours of 9am6pm. The post is offered on a fixed term to 31st March 2026, with a possibility of extension.
As the university outreach worker for the charity, you will provide an outreach service at one of the South London university sites one day a week. This will consist of providing short-term specialist emotional and practical support, and signposting, to survivors of sexual violence.
The successful candidate will have experience of providing trauma informed emotional and practical support on a one-to-one or casework basis to women who have experienced rape and sexual violence.
The post is open to female applicants only as the role is deemed to be a genuine occupational requirement under Schedule 9, Paragraph 1 of the Equality Act 2010.
