2 Year Fixed Term Contract - open to full-time/part-time/flexible working.

Key Responsibilities:  
  1. To secure significant income from a portfolio of Charitable Trusts and Foundations against agreed annual targets through a comprehensive programme of targeted and specific applications, with a focus on multiyear funding where appropriate. 
  2. To proactively develop and support relationships with Charitable Trusts and Foundations (including with their trustees and officers). 
  3. To develop annual budgets in line with Pace strategic priorities; research, identify and forecast all appropriate Charitable Trusts and Foundations offering funding opportunities for Pace’s work. 
  4. To support the Head of Income Generation by reporting on opportunity, pipeline and committed income values. 
  5. To work with the Head of Income Generation, Chief Executive, COO and other senior staff to develop project ideas that will interest and engage prospective and current supporters and prepare high quality funding applications and supporting materials. 
  6. To research prospects and develop cultivation plans for potential Trusts and Foundations, involving senior staff, trustees and patrons of Pace as appropriate. 
  7. To manage a Trusts and Foundations Fundraiser. 
  8. To ensure that the Trust and Foundation information on the Raiser’s Edge database is maintained and used effectively. 
  9. To adhere to Pace standards and best practise in acknowledging all grants and donations swiftly and ensure that Pace meets all reporting requirements from funding bodies. 
  10. To adhere to the highest standards of fundraising best practice as set out in the Institute of Fundraising’s Codes of Practice and ensure that all activities comply fully with the relevant Data Protection and any other legislation. 
  11. To promote and manage visits to Pace and cultivation events for representatives of Charitable Trusts and Foundations and supporters. 
  12. To support the Head of Income Generation in working with Pace patrons and trustees to identify personal contacts (either at Charitable Trusts and Foundations or individually) and involve them in supporting Trust and Foundation fundraising. 
  13. To deputise for the Head of Income Generation if appropriate and necessary. 
 
General 
  1. To represent Pace in the public space by attending meetings and other events to promote the work and good name of Pace, its philosophy, practice and fundraising objectives. 
  2. To act in such a way as to ensure both your own safety and that of fellow users of the Centre.   
  3. To undertake such other duties as may reasonably be expected by the Head of Income Generation, Chief Executive or COO.
