Job Purpose
Your role will have a primary focus on delivering digital transformation projects across the Wilderness group of businesses and wider Active Travel Group.
The role is varied and flexible and will involve working with and supporting colleagues and external partners to deliver a portfolio of technical projects. These projects will include an emphasis on Salesforce configuration and development.
We are looking for a proactive, conscientious and motivated individual that can help us continually deliver a high level of service to our colleagues and teams.
Key Accountabilities
- Ensuring a portfolio of projects is delivered to a high standard and inline with the organisation's strategic aims.
- Managing a team of internal technical developers and administrators.
- Being the primary contact for external partners on a project by project basis.
- Providing technical support for colleagues in a development capacity, but also in the wider IT support team.
- Working with senior management to develop project plans and timelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Tech development across the Wilderness Group and wider Active Travel Group as required.
- Project management, including stakeholder engagement, brief development and all elements required to deliver the desired outcomes.
- Working with department heads across the organisation to use technical solutions to improve efficiency, including the introduction of AI to automate or optimise processes.
- Overseeing IT and business process infrastructure.
- Implementing configuration changes in Salesforce.
- Managing business data to improve data quality.
- Ensuring IT and business systems align with cybersecurity policies and best practices.
- Building strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders to understand business needs and provide effective support.

- Good IT skills with experience in cloud-based CRM systems such as Salesforce, Google Drive and Mac applications.

- Good interpersonal skills, awareness and emotional intelligence with an ability to develop and sustain internal & external business relationships.

- A commitment to some weekend work to support with any 'out of hours' operational requirements.
Preferred role-specific Skills, Knowledge & Experience
- Minimum 2 years of experience working as a line manager or team leader in a technical role.
- Minimum 3 years Salesforce administration and development experience.
- Administrator experience in Microsoft 365, Google Workspace, Salesforce or equivalent cloud based enterprise business systems.
- Strong project management skills.
- Strong problem solving skills, logical thinking & quick to understand new processes and systems.
- A high level of conscientiousness and independent drive to deliver the highest quality of work possible.
- A warm, personable, and customer-focused approach to service delivery.
- Salesforce Certifications.
- Certifications in Microsoft, Google or equivalent systems.
- Experience of using Atlassian Jira or equivalent project management systems.
- System integration and API experience.
- Web development experience.
