Details

  • Preparing and testing of equipment prior to rental and post hire.
  • Function testing, software / firmware updates, cable integrity.
  • Ensuring completeness of equipment against packing lists.
  • Checking, inspecting, and documenting equipment returned from hire.
  • Visual inspection, function testing and writing technical reports.
  • Identification of in-house or external repair tasks.
  • Preparing all assets to ensure they are ready for delivery to clients at short notice.
  • General warehouse and delivery duties.
  • Checking, inspecting and documenting equipment on mobilisation.
  • Setup, interface, function test on mobilisation.
  • Troubleshoot to successful conclusion.
  • Assist offshore survey team as required.
  • Demobilise, check, inspect and document equipment prior to dispatch back to base.
  • Attend Offshore training and undergo an Offshore medical.

We’re looking for a Survey Technician to join our Technical & Operations division, supporting the Survey Technician team and contributing to the smooth delivery of the team’s daily objectives. The role involves preparing, testing, inspecting, and documenting survey equipment throughout its hire lifecycle, ensuring assets are fully functional, deployment-ready, and available at short notice. You’ll also assist with mobilisation, troubleshooting, offshore support, and general warehouse and delivery activities as required.
