About Us

We aim to become the champions of mental health on the Isle of Man from low-level early intervention positive mental health support and training, through to more complex needs and longer-term conditions.

We work in collaboration with the statutory services and other third sector partners to provide a unique environment on our beautiful Island where the importance of mental health is recognised and the community work together to provide timely and correct interventions at every level.

About You

We’re looking for a team player who can work collaboratively as part of a committed, enthusiastic and dedicated team; and who can be flexible and adaptable to the needs of the organisation, occasionally working unsociable hours. The successful candidate should be able to demonstrate experience of designing and delivering appropriate measures to keep adults, young people and children safe in clinical and non-clinical environments. Ideally the candidate should also be able to demonstrate experience in the field of systemic interventions and mental health.

The Role

The main purpose of the role is to take the lead on all matters relating to safeguarding for the charity and respond to information that may constitute a child protection or adult safeguarding concern.

The postholder will work closely with the Clinical Lead, senior management team and other colleagues to make sure that the charity’s safeguarding policies and procedures are both fit for purpose and correctly followed. The postholder will focus on ensuring robust systems are in place to monitor and enhance safeguarding practices across the charity. They will also provide holistic psychosocial assessments and low-intensity interventions to children and young people and systemic assessment and intervention to children, young people and their families.

The postholder will build on the already well-established multi-agency partnerships that have strengthened our community’s response to those in need of protection and support.

The postholder will provide systemic assessment and treatment of children, young people and their families.
