As a Senior Product Marketing Manager at Secret Mode, you will lead the strategic marketing direction for our games, acting as the central force behind their commercial success and cultural impact. You are a seasoned marketing leader with over five years of experience in product marketing within the video games industry, and a proven track record of working with high-profile licensors.
You will define and execute marketing strategies that respect the legacy of the franchises you will be working on while engaging new and existing fans across global markets. 


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

 

  • Lead the end-to-end marketing strategy for our titles, ensuring alignment with franchise values and licensor expectations.
  • Serve as the primary marketing liaison with the licensor, managing approvals, brand integrity, and collaborative planning.
  • Develop and execute global go-to-market plans that drive awareness, engagement, and commercial success.
  • Define product positioning, audience segmentation, and messaging frameworks that resonate with our target audiences.
  • Partner closely with PR, community, and creative teams to ensure cohesive and impactful marketing execution.
  • Collaborate with external agencies (creative, media, events) to deliver high-quality campaign assets and activations.
  • Navigate complex approval processes and maintain strong relationships with licensor brand teams.
  • Ensure all marketing materials meet brand guidelines and storytelling standards set by the franchise.
  • Define and track marketing KPIs across awareness, engagement, conversion, and retention.
  • Analyze campaign performance and player feedback to inform future strategies and improve ROI.
  • Own and manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation across channels and initiatives.
  • Forecast spend and performance, providing regular reporting to leadership and stakeholders.
  • Represent Secret Mode at key industry and franchise events,
  • Stay ahead of market trends, fan expectations, and competitor activity for your assigned titles.
 

 

KEY REQUIREMENTS

 

  • Minimum 5+ years of experience as a Product Marketing Manager in the video games industry.
  • Demonstrated success working with licensors, managing approvals, and navigating brand guidelines.
  • Strong strategic thinking, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Experience managing large-scale marketing campaigns.
  • Passion for storytelling, player engagement, and building iconic gaming experiences.
  • Experience shipping on a licensed video game is a plus.
 

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

 

This role requires you to be in our Leamington Spa studio for two days a week and may involve occasional travel to events.
