About the Fund Administration team:

About this role:
The Senior Fund Administrator acts as a key point of contact for a portfolio of clients under the direction of a manager and will be expected to provide accurate, well-presented client deliverables across their portfolio as well as supporting the wider fund team.
Key Responsibilities:
• Administer a portfolio of clients (including VC funds, management companies and associated fund vehicles), including liaising with clients and third parties.
• Co-ordinate and process all aspects of the fund’s operations, including investment transactions, payments (including investor distributions), receipts and investor transactions.
• Process and assist with complex areas of fund operations including the set-up and licensing of new entities, applications to tax authorities and collation of due diligence documents.
• Ensure all investor and fund records are maintained and changes are processed in a timely manner.
• Ensure regulatory and statutory filings are made in a timely manner.
• Co-ordinate company secretarial matters including preparation of minutes, board packs and reports.
• Liaise with clients, tax advisors, lawyers and other third parties on fund operation matters, including providing relevant information and acting upon/ understanding any advice provided under the guidance of a manager.
• Act as a mentor to junior staff under the supervision of a manager.
• Attend to other ad-hoc client requests or other duties as required by the team, including project work.

• A self-starter with the ability to work independently and accurately under pressure.
• Excellent communication, team-work and interpersonal skills to develop strong working relationships with colleagues, clients and other stakeholders.
• Strong computer literacy and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Practical experience in, or demonstratable knowledge of, the financial services industry.
Qualifications and expertise:
• Hold or be studying towards a recognised professional qualification such as CGI (ICSA), ACCA, ACA and/or a minimum of 3 years relevant experience in fund administration.
• Ability to understand and interpret fund documentation, GFSC regulations, including the Protection of Investors law and anti-money laundering regulations.
