Details
Lead and develop the Trust's conservation training programme, delivering accredited and non-accredited training in practical conservation and wider nature recovery skills. From species identification and habitat management to tool use and volunteer leadership, you'll help build the skills, knowledge and confidence needed to support nature's recovery across the region.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and develop BBCWT's conservation training programme, delivering accredited and non-accredited learning opportunities.
- Deliver training in practical conservation skills, including habitat management, species identification and tool use.
- Design and manage biodiversity enhancement and habitat creation projects.
- Manage and support project staff, volunteers and trainees.
- Build relationships with partners, communities and funders to expand opportunities for nature recovery and skills development.
- Contribute to income generation through funding applications, tenders and contracts.
You'll be part of a passionate Nature Recovery Team working to restore habitats, engage communities and create a wilder Birmingham and Black Country. You'll work collaboratively with colleagues, volunteers, partners and stakeholders to deliver meaningful outcomes for wildlife and people.
