Details
Lead the delivery of biodiversity enhancement and habitat creation projects across Birmingham and the Black Country, with a particular focus on freshwater habitats and ecological restoration. You'll work closely with partners, community groups and colleagues to deliver meaningful outcomes for nature and help drive the Trust's nature recovery ambitions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of biodiversity enhancement and habitat creation projects across Birmingham and the Black Country.
- Manage project budgets, reporting, resources and contractor procurement.
- Develop and maintain partnerships with landowners, community groups and other stakeholders.
- Support the development of funding opportunities, grant applications and tenders.
- Manage and support project staff, volunteers and trainees.
- Contribute to the Trust's ecological restoration work, with a particular focus on freshwater and habitat restoration projects.
You'll be part of a passionate Nature Recovery Team working to restore habitats, engage communities and create a wilder Birmingham and Black Country. You'll work collaboratively with colleagues, volunteers, partners and stakeholders to deliver meaningful outcomes for wildlife and people.
