Purpose of the role:
Affinia is currently seeking a dynamic individual to come and join the firm as our Senior Cloud Accountant. This is an exciting opportunity which offers the chance to make a real impact on the firm and is a newly created role to cope with business demands. The role will see you working alongside our Digital Solutions and Cloud Accounting team to support their requirements as well as supporting the wider business.

As a Senior Cloud Accountant, you will need to: 
· Hold and manage a small portfolio of clients to support the management team. 
· Act as a software champion in our AppStack, supporting with software queries as they arise. 
· Provide software training and demonstrations to clients. 
· Support with providing bookkeeping and VAT to deadlines. 
· Support with providing management accounts to the Accounts team within pre-agreed deadlines. 
· Support with review of work completed by junior team members as needed. 
· Any other adhoc tasks required by the management team.

Key skills and attributes required:
  • Previous experience of working in an outsourced finance department desirable. 
  • AAT qualified or previous relevant work experience. 
  • Previously assisted with Bookkeeping & Management Accounts.
  • Experience of cloud accounting systems desirable. 
  • Highly organised with a good eye for detail.
  • Previous experience managing service to clients. 
  • Strong attention to detail and excellent organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with integrity.
