Whom are we looking for?
Ampowr's business in Benelux is growing at a steep speed and we're happy to welcome new people to join the rockship! We are actively looking for an ambitious Sales Manager that can identify and capitalize on the enormous opportunities brought by Energy Storage Solutions in a dedicated vertical (e.g., Logistics, Manufacturing & Renewables etc.). This role will own relationships, lead pipeline building, and close deals within their vertical.

You will be responsible for developing and nurturing relationships with key stakeholders in the industry, understanding client needs and presenting the advantages of our innovative battery storage solutions aligning them with their energy and sustainability goals.
You will be working closely with a committed Sales team, featured by a healthy mix of innovation and work closely with Marketing, Inside Sales and Technical Teams

To be successful in this role, you are expected to:
  • Develop and own a vertical-specific go-to-market strategy.
  • Prospect, engage and convert clients across the vertical, maintain a healthy pipeline and update CRM daily.
  • Work closely with clients to tailor solutions that meet their specific energy storage needs and contribute to their sustainability objectives.
  • Collaborate with the Proposals team to understand the technical aspects of our battery storage solutions and effectively communicate these to clients.
  • Deliver on monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, understanding their unique requirements and challenges.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and potential challenges.
  • Provide regular market feedback to the leadership team for continuous improvement and strategic decision-making.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Engineering or a related field.
  • 5+ year-experience in B2B within the energy sector (specialisation in battery storage or renewable energy is preferred).
  • Familiarity with energy systems, sustainability, or smart infrastructure. Market-specific technical or industry knowledge is a strong plus.
  • Proficiency in English and Dutch languages.
  • Strong understanding of energy markets, regulations and trends in the Netherlands.
  • Passion and eagerness to explore the opportunities of BESS in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Flexibility and passion to work in a dynamic start-up environment striving for sustainability.
  • Willingness to travel as required.
