We’re seeking a passionate, experiences, motivated Registered Manager to lead a brand-new solo children’s home near Lincoln. This is a rare and exciting opportunity to open and shape a high-quality therapeutic home from day one, providing focused care for a child with emotional and behavioural difficulties (EBD). This role is ideal for a current Registered Manager or a strong Deputy ready to take the next step in their career, with full support from the Senior Leadership Team and access to sector-leading therapeutic and operational resources.

Location: Lincoln

Job Type: Full-Time (40 hours per week), Monday – Friday 9am-5pm

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000

What We’re Looking For

·        Previous experience as a Registered Manager or Deputy Manager in a children’s residential setting (EBD/solo care preferred).

·        Strong knowledge of relevant legislation, regulations, and Ofsted inspection frameworks.

·        NVQ Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or willingness to complete)

·        A resilient, compassionate leader who can establish a positive culture from the outset.

·        A commitment to therapeutic, trauma-informed care and improving outcomes for children.

Requirements

·        Must have the right to work in the UK

·        Must be able to speak and understand English to a good standard for effective communication, record-keeping and safeguarding the wellbeing of those you will be supporting.

·        A full Enhanced DBS Check will be required for the successful candidates

What You’ll Be Doing

·        Oversee the OFSTED registration and successful launch of the solo home.

·        Recruit, develop, and lead a small, dedicated team with a therapeutic and child-centred approach.

·        Establish a nurturing and structured environment tailored to the individual needs of one child.

·        Maintain high standard of safeguarding and compliance with Children’s Homes Regulations and OFSTED expectations.

·        Build strong relationships with local authorities, external professionals, and families.

·        Embed a culture of reflection, stability and care that priorities the long-term outcomes of the child.
