NATIONAL LOTTERY HERITAGE FUND / ESMÉE FAIRBAIRN FOUNDATION
CORSYDD CALON MÔN PROJECT OFFICER
DEVELOPMENT PHASE
JOB TITLE: Corsydd Calon Mon Project Officer (Maternity cover 12/26 – 6/26)
Location: Office facilities available in Bangor (at least 1 day a week in person) or from home / onsite on Anglesey as required
Responsible to: Corsydd Calon Mon Project Manager
OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB
• This role supports the delivery of the Corsydd Calon Môn project – a community-focused conservation and heritage project, celebrating the past and securing the future of the Anglesey Fens.
• Working as part of a small team alongside a Project Manager and Farm Engagement Officer, you will help to shape the next phase of the project. Bringing together our incredible experts across the steering group, contractors and wider stakeholders, helping to create real and meaningful change for the sites and the communities around them.
• You will be joining us at an exciting time, as we bring to a close the project’s development phase and apply for delivery phase funding.
• You will be a hands-on, creative, motivated and well-organised person.
• The post will be fixed term, from December 2025 – June 2026. If we are successful in our bid for delivery phase funding, we will be recruiting for additional roles in the summer of 2026.
• Previous experience of National Lottery Heritage Fund projects would be beneficial (but not essential), as would experience of working in communities on Anglesey.
WORKING ARRANGEMENTS:
• The Project Administrator is responsible to the Project Manager and will also work with members of Project Steering Group and across the project area as necessary.
• The post-holder will regularly deal with project-related queries from staff and external enquirers.
• The post-holder will support the Project Manager in helping establish and providing administrative support for other project related sub-groups that may be established during the course of the project.
• The post will involve occasional evening or weekend work. The work will involve regular travel between sites and may involve occasional travel to locations elsewhere in Wales and the rest of the UK.
• The NWWT welcomes a hybrid working (home and office) approach. The Llys Garth Head Office in Bangor would be the base of operations for this project. Given the nature of the work we require at least one day a week shared office time with the Project Manager.
