As we enter an exciting period of growth, we are looking for an experienced Project & Customer Manager to join our team. This is a varied role at the heart of our operations, connecting customers, projects, production, planning and engineering. You will lead cross-functional projects, manage customer and order requirements, and drive improvements that help us deliver a reliable, predictable and high-quality service.
We’re looking for an organised, proactive and customer-focused professional who enjoys getting things done and making things better.
Key Functions:
· Managing projects from planning through to successful delivery
· Coordinating cross-functional teams, timelines, risks and actions
· Managing customer orders, delivery commitments and communications
· Resolving issues and coordinating internal priorities
· Using operational data to identify risks and opportunities
· Driving continuous improvement across processes and systems
· Supporting effective change and evaluating its impact
· Building strong relationships with customers and internal stakeholders
Core Skills and Experience:
· Experience in operations, manufacturing planning, scheduling or supply chain
· Proven project management experience, ideally across multiple functions
· Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
· Ability to interpret data and turn it into clear actions
· Experience leading teams and managing competing priorities
· Confidence using ERP/MRP systems, spreadsheets and project/workflow tools
· Strong problem-solving and organisational skills
Desirable Skills and Experience:
· PRINCE2, APM, PMP or similar project management qualification
· Manufacturing or engineering experience
· Continuous improvement experience
- Customer service, account management or commercial experience
Full time hours of work Monday - Friday 8am – 5pm, Friday 8am to 12.30pm
