We are working on a highly anticipated feature film, ROGUE TROOPER, based on the 2000AD comic book. We’re looking for a Production Coordinator to join our busy team, playing a crucial role in supporting the Animation and Shot Assembly, ensuring the seamless operation of the production pipeline.
The Production Coordinator will work closely with their teams to facilitate efficient workflows, manage schedules, and ensure timely delivery of assets and sequences. This role requires strong organizational skills, excellent communication, the ability to adapt with ease, and a passion for animation.
Please note, this role must be based in-house at our Poole studio.

Key Responsibilities:
Scheduling & Tracking:
- Support the Production Manager in maintaining and updating the production schedule using our production software. Full training will be provided.
- Track the progress of user-assigned tasks, ensuring deadlines are met.
- Provide regular updates internally and to our Producers and other stakeholders.
Team Support
- Serve as the main point of contact for the animation team, addressing their needs and working with the other departments to work through any blockers.
- Coordinate dailies and review sessions with the teams.
- Work with teams both internal and external to ensure the artists have access to necessary assets, tools, and reference materials.
Pipeline Coordination
- Work with technical teams to ensure the pipeline runs smoothly
- Facilitate handoffs between departments, ensuring clear communication of requirements and deadlines.
Asset Management:
- Oversee the organization and distribution of animation assets.
- Maintain clear and accessible project files.
Communication & Documentation:
- Create meetings and clear agendas based on client requirements.
- Document and assign meeting notes, action items, and feedback.
- Liaise between departments to ensure feedback can be actioned, highlighting any issues early and clearly.
- Assisting with the day-to-day running of the Production Dept. including but not limited to the above.
Key Qualifications
- Experience in a production role
- Strong organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Proficiency in production management tools, plus Microsoft Office.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Passion for animation and storytelling.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working within a production department for animation/VFX
- Familiarity with animation workflows and tools, particularly Unreal Engine.
