As a Product Marketing Manager at Secret Mode, you will manage the marketing direction for our games, define and execute go-to-market plans, and be a key evangelist for our games with our players. You are an ambitious marketer with over two years of experience in product marketing within the video games industry, and a proven track record of working with high-profile licensors. You will be passionate about, and respectful of, the legacy of the franchises you will be working on while engaging new and existing fans across global markets. 

 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Manage the end-to-end marketing strategy for our titles, ensuring alignment with franchise values and licensor expectations.
  • Serve as a key marketing stakeholder with the licensor, managing approvals, brand integrity, and collaborative planning.
  • Develop and execute global go-to-market plans that drive awareness, engagement, and commercial success.
  • Define product positioning, audience segmentation, and messaging frameworks that resonate with our target audiences.
  • Partner closely with PR, community, and creative teams to ensure cohesive and impactful marketing execution.
  • Collaborate with external agencies (creative, media, events) to deliver high-quality campaign assets and activations.
  • Navigate complex approval processes and maintain strong relationships with licensor brand teams.
  • Ensure all marketing materials meet brand guidelines and storytelling standards set by the franchise.
  • Track and analyse marketing KPIs across awareness, engagement, conversion, and retention, alongside other team members.
  • Analyse campaign performance and player feedback to inform future strategies and improve ROI.
  • Manage the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation across channels and initiatives.
  • Work with the commercial team to plan and forecast spend and performance.
  • Represent Secret Mode at key industry and franchise event.
  • Stay ahead of market trends, fan expectations, and competitor activity for your assigned titles.
 

KEY REQUIREMENTS

  • Minimum 2+ years of experience within a marketing function in the video games industry.
  • Demonstrate success working with licensors, managing approvals, and navigating brand guidelines.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Passion for storytelling, player engagement, and building iconic gaming experiences.
  • Experience shipping on a licensed video game is a plus.
 

TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS

This role requires you to be in our Leamington Spa studio for two days a week and may involve occasional travel to events.
