Key Responsibilities:
- Support the MCB Press Office in media relations and outreach activities.
- Draft articles, reports, policy response and briefings on various issues affecting the Muslim communities.
- Assist in building and maintaining effective communication channels with parliamentarians and policymakers.
- Contribute to the development and execution of strategies to combat Islamophobia.
- Collaborate with a diverse team of professionals, learning from their expertise and expanding your network.
- Supporting initiatives for betterment and promoting positive work of Muslims, engaging with Muslims at a grass-root level to making a meaningful and impactful change
Requirements:
- A deep interest in public affairs, policy-making, and lobbying.
- A commitment to promoting the rights and welfare of the Muslim community.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent time management skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with a keen eye for detail.
- Higher education qualification or equivalent professional experience in Public Affairs.
