Join our team! In this role, you'll be responsible for testing and inspecting a full range of plant and equipment  to ensure it meets safety and performance standards before rental. With strong communication skills and a commitment to safety, you'll provide excellent customer service and assist with general yard duties as required. 
 
What you will do:
  • Perform thorough testing and inspection of equipment, to ensure they meet safety and performance standards.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure they remain in optimal condition. 
  • Maintain accurate records of all tests, inspections, maintenance activities, and repairs performed on equipment. Ensure that all documentation is complete and compliant with industry regulations.
  • Ensure that all equipment complies with safety regulations and standards.
  • General yard duties as required to include assisting with the loading and unloading of machinery. 
 
What you will need:
  • Construction, agricultural and/or mechanical experience would be desirable. 
  • Strong understanding of machinery and equipment and troubleshooting skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and equipment.

Hours of work: Week 1: Monday – Thursday 6am – 3:30pm & Friday 6am – 2:30pm 
Week 2: Monday – Thursday 8:30am – 6pm & Friday 7:30 - 4pm, 41.5 hours per week plus 1 Saturday in 3 from 7:45am – 12:30pm
Location: Cookstown
Salary: £14.00 per hour + DOE
