Location Cambridge United Training Ground and Stadium
Hours Matchdays and one day per week

Role Summary
 The role provides an excellent opportunity for a committed, hard-working individual to develop their practical analysis skills set working with industry-standard software and equipment in a high-performance environment.
The role complements a sports-related undergraduate or postgraduate degree programme and will provide training and education on working processes, in addition to regular CPD opportunities.
To contribute towards player and team development in a First Team football environment with performance analysis support.
Key Role Outcomes
 
Main duties:
• Capture and analyse video footage to provide performance feedback from training sessions and matches
• Setup of analysis software and hardware, including filming equipment
• Assist with the maintenance of best practice video libraries
• Contribute to the analysis and visualisation of technical and tactical performance data
• Assist with the production of opposition analysis resources including video compilations and reports 
• Support the performance analysis department with any ad-hoc tasks when required
Other responsibilities:
• Awareness of and compliance to club policies e.g. safeguarding, and inclusion
• GDPR compliance

Person Specification
Skills, Qualifications, Experience & Personal Attributes Required/ Desirable
Current student on a sports/performance analysis related undergraduate or postgraduate degree programme 
FA/UEFA coaching qualifications 
Performance analysis related qualifications or evidence of CPD 
Previous experience of working as an intern within professional football at First Team or Academy level 
Well-presented and professional 
Highly organised with planning skills 
Highly motivated with a strong work ethic 
IT literate including use of Microsoft Office 
Committed to personal and professional development
