Whom are we looking for?
Over the last year, Ampowr doubled in people size and our People Department is now in need of support to bring its operations to the next level. In this People Operations Specialist role, you will gain experience, as well as onboarding and internal HR processes. This is a great opportunity to fast-forward your experience in the People operations in a young and fast-moving environment, where you can make a great impact in shaping our culture with strong focus on enhancing the People experience of Ampowr!

What it takes for you to be successful in this role:
  • Assisting in coordinating and executing the onboarding process for new hires internally and with third parties, with the goal of ensuring a seamless transition into the company.
  • Coordinating internal orientation sessions, setting up workstations, and facilitating introductions.
  • Managing and updating the internal HRIS system.
  • Being the first point of contact for internal inquiries regarding HR policies, benefits, and general inquiries, escalating as necessary.
  • Maintaining and updating onboarding materials, including handbooks, policies, and training resources.
  • Developing and enhancing employer branding through internal and external communication channels, including newsletter formats.
  • Availability to work at least 24 hours/week.

Qualifications:
  • 1+ years of experience in HR operations, preferably in multicultural and fast-growing environments.
  • Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Knowledge of Dutch labour laws in the Netherlands.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication abilities, with sensitivity to a multicultural and diverse working environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
  • Knowledge of internal communication systems (ie Google chat or Slack) and familiarity with HRIS is a plus.
  • Curiosity, out-of-the-box thinking and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
