Summary:
The Operations Administrator will provide support to the Logistics and Export Compliance Specialist and regional functions of Logistics, Sales, and Technical Operations as required.

Principal Accountabilities:
Provide support to the Logistics and Export Compliance Specialist related to;

  • Facilitating the Goods-In and Good-Out process for incoming and out bound shipments.
  • Data entry into the STR Asset Management system - CSAM. 
  • Arranging collections, deliveries, imports, exports, and intercompany transfers using approved freight forwarders, couriers, and logistics providers.
  • Tracking freight movements and provide timely updates to internal stakeholders and customers when required.
  • Assisting with resolving shipment delays, customs holds, missing documentation, damaged goods, or delivery discrepancies.
  • Preparing, reviewing, and maintaining export and import documentation, including commercial invoices, packing lists, customs declarations, certificates of origin, and temporary export/import documentation where applicable.
  • Ensuring shipments comply with applicable export control regulations, customs requirements, sanctions screening processes, and STR internal procedures.
  • Maintaining accurate records for export/import transactions, including supporting evidence for audits and compliance reviews.


Provide support to the regional Logistics, Sales, and Technical Operations teams as required such as but not limited to;

  • Updating the freight tracker as required and assist Finance with any queries.
  • Generating Purchase Orders for the regional Logistics, Sales, and Technical Operations teams as required. 
  • Support the planning, coordination, and organization of client events and other business engagement activities as required.
  • Provide general office support such as but not limited to;
  • Liaising with the facility vendors, cleaners, maintenance providers, and other third-party service providers. 
  • Maintaining the facility office supplies, consumables, records, trackers, and administrative systems to support the effective running of the facility.
  • Greet visitors and answer, screen, and direct incoming telephone calls in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Promote a positive, professional, and organized office environment.
  • Adhere to all STR policies, procedures, and company standards.
  • Ensure all correspondence is professional, timely, and aligned with STR standards.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling employee, customer, supplier, financial, and commercially sensitive information.
