About The Way Youth Zone:

The Way Youth Zone is a vibrant, purpose-built facility offering over 20 activities every night to young people aged 8–18. Since opening in 2016, we’ve been a hub of creativity, support, and opportunity for Wolverhampton’s youth. Our mission is to empower young people from all backgrounds to thrive through engaging activities, positive relationships, and life-changing support.

About the MAP Project:

The MAP Project is a targeted initiative designed to support young people in care through consistent, meaningful mentoring embedded within our universal youth sessions. The project aims to raise aspirations, build resilience, and increase support for some of our most vulnerable young people.

Through trusted relationships with our mentors, participants are encouraged to explore their interests, set personal goals, and engage positively with their communities. The MAP Project creates safe, inclusive spaces where young people in care can thrive, feel heard, and develop the confidence to shape their own futures.

By integrating mentoring into our wider youth offer, we ensure that young people in care are not only supported individually but also included in group activities that promote social connection and personal development
