The Aqua Park Lakeside is open from 23rd May to 20th September 2026. Note: work is available before and after the park is open, to prepare and pack-down the site.  

Mandatory training is given to all our employees before we open to our customers. 

What you will be doing: 

No two days are the same at the Aqua Park. You’ll be keeping the park safe, fun and flowing smoothly. Your role will include:

  • Lifeguarding, both on the obstacles and from a shore position.
  • Acting immediately and confidently to assist any customer in difficulty.
  • Guiding customers around the park and helping to manage the flow of visitors during bust sessions.
  • Delivering clear, upbeat safety briefs before customers head out onto the water.
  • Completing accurate first aid and incident forms and saving them to our company system. 
  • Helping with equipment and safety checks at opening and close, and supporting safe pack-down.
  • Pitching in with customer service rotations, helping with wetsuits and keeping things moving. 
  • Undertaking maintenance under the guidance of the management team. 
  • Cleaning equipment and facilities so everything is fresh, safe and ready for the next session. 
  • Bringing great energy and professionalism so we earn excellent customer feedback every day. 

Training & Development:

  • You’ll receive training and gain the RLSS Open Water Lifeguard qualification, as a part of the role. 
  • You will also receive site specific training and support from our friendly team. 

We would like to hear from you if:

  • You are confident in the water and excited to train as a Lifeguard
  • Or you already hold a Lifeguard Qualification, such as:
  •  National Pool Lifeguard Qualification, NPLQ, 
  • Open Water Lifeguard Qualification, OWL,
  • or the National Vocational Beach Lifeguard Qualification, NVBLQ.
  • If you have good availability across the season - we can accommodate a planned holiday, and odd days off, but we’re looking for team members who can commit to good availability throughout the summer period.
