Provide clinical leadership for the Occupational Therapy service within Pace School. The Lead OT holds discipline-specific clinical authority across the OT team, ensuring the delivery of a highly specialist, evidence-based service for children with complex neurodevelopmental needs.
The post holder carries a one-class caseload to protect time for supervision, professional oversight and clinical leadership within the OT team. They are the primary clinical escalation point for all OT staff at Pace School, reporting to and working in close partnership with the Head of School Therapy.
The role requires advanced clinical reasoning, specialist knowledge in paediatric occupational therapy and the ability to lead and develop a discipline team within Pace’s Conductive Education-informed, transdisciplinary model.
The post holder is expected to demonstrate and maintain the competencies described for Band 7, including engagement in supervision, reflective practice, quality improvement and ongoing professional development.
