Working with transport operators and local authorities in Europe, we're looking for a confident and organised French speaker to help our clients

You

Journey Alerts, the personalised travel information company, are rolling out programmes with partners around Europe and beyond

As a small team, we now need some help delivering our new international programmes, and we're looking for a confident and organised account manager to keep things on schedule. Working with train, tram and bus operators or local authorities in Europe (and possibly beyond), you'll be super organised and happy to get involved in any part of the project - from desk research to client management and testing in the real-world.

Initially a 12 month, part-time, hybrid role of three days per week, we'd need to meet in person once a week in the office (Solihul or Oxford), and there will occasionally be international travel to client meetings and workshops. We'd expect this to turn into a full-time, permanent role.

Core duties

  • Joining the team and hosting meetings, both virtually and in person, in the UK, France, Croatia and beyond...
  • ...often in French
  • Keeping everyone organised as we deploy new programmes
  • Looking after international clients and keeping things running smoothly

Vital experience

  • Fluent spoken and written French at business / native level is essential
  • Excellent organisation and communication skills
  • Account management and relationship building experience
  • Experience with transport, digital or tech products

Important bit - read me!

As we're not always in the office together, communication is vital! As such, we HAVE to see a cover letter from you!

  • A cover letter is essential - applications without a letter cannot be considered. And please write it yourself - a few paragraphs from you is worth infinitely more than another letter from ChatGPT...
  • We are unable to sponsor visa applications - applicants must already have the right to work in the location listed
  • We cannot accept remote-only applications
  • No agencies. No, really, please no agencies!
