Are you a confident and experienced HR professional ready to shape how a growing organisation supports and develops its people? We are seeking a proactive HR Advisor to join our small, values-led company and play a key role in delivering a responsive, people-focused HR service.

In this remote role, you’ll be the first point of contact for managers and employees, offering expert guidance across employee relations, performance management, absence, recruitment, and policy implementation. You’ll support the HR Manager in driving continuous improvement and contributing to wider HR strategy, including employee engagement, EDI, and systems development.

This role is ideal for someone with solid HR experience who thrives in a small, mission-driven organisation and is comfortable working remotely.

What we’re looking for:

  • CIPD Level 5 qualification (or higher), or an equivalent recognised HR-related qualification and/or substantial relevant experience.
  • Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practices.
  • Proven experience in a generalist HR role, with confidence advising managers on issues such as disciplinary, grievance, absence, and performance.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build trusted relationships
  • Comfortable working independently in a remote, fast-paced environment
  • Passionate about fairness, compliance, and supporting people to thrive
  • Experience supporting or leading HR projects, such as policy reviews, change management, or wellbeing initiatives.

At Gateway Qualifications you’ll be mainly based at home and will therefore need a reliable, high speed internet connection and a quiet, suitably furnished, place to work.
