LB Group, a chartered accountancy firm, is looking to recruit a HR Administrator to join their existing small HR team in Chelmsford.

Working to support four offices across London, Essex and Suffolk you will work closely with various stakeholder groups including the HR Advisor, HR Manager, Employees, Managers and external agents to deliver an efficient and exceptional admin service to the department and group. You will have the opportunity to develop your HR knowledge in a fully funded Apprenticeship, studying the CIPD Level 3 Foundation Certificate in People Practice.
 
Chelmsford (Monday – Friday 09.00 – 17.30 - 1hr unpaid lunch break) 
Must be willing to travel to our Stratford, Colchester and Ipswich offices on a regular basis. 

Responsible to the HR Advisor, your key responsibilities will be:

  • To provide accurate and timely HR administration support to the HR team and business
  • Assist in managing the full employee lifecycle - recruitment, from onboarding, induction through to leavers.
  • Creating contracts, new offer paperwork, contractual change letters
  • To manage the administration process of all new starters to the company, including obtaining references, chasing all missing signed paperwork, arranging inductions, and uploading employee information on to the HR system.
  • Check and ensure all return-to-work meetings have been recorded.
  • Ensure electronic files are always up to date.
  • Handling non-advisory employee queries received either face to face or via the internal hr inbox.
  • Coordinate with Payroll - new starters, leavers, changes to contracts and employee data. 
  • Coordinating and tracking employee training – professional, apprenticeships and CPD. 
  • Assisting the HR Advisor in coordinating employee communications and related intranet content
  • Maintaining the HRMS 
  • Liaising with external recruitment agencies when required
  • Assisting the HR Team in Employee Engagement initiatives 
  • Note taking in confidential meetings, such as disciplinaries and grievances and probation reviews.
  • Maintaining the PayCare tracker and send monthly submissions.
  • Travel to other office locations when required.
  • Maintaining a professional approach with an appreciation for the confidential environment of which you work in.
  • Provide department cover in times of absence.

Essential -

•    Previous experience of working within Human Resources.

Min 5 GCSE’s grade C or above (4 or above) including Maths and English
