We aim to become the champions of mental health on the Isle of Man from low-level early intervention positive mental health support and training, through to more complex needs and longer-term conditions. We work in collaboration with the statutory services and other third sector partners to provide a unique environment on our beautiful Island where the importance of mental health is recognised and the community work together to provide timely and correct interventions at every level.
About You
We’re looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Design Student who is able to work collaboratively as part of a friendly and dedicated team. The successful candidate will have experience using Adobe Creative Cloud programmes and be able to work in Castletown during the summer holidays. Ideally the candidate should also be able to demonstrate interest in the area of mental health.
Grow and shape your portfolio with real world design experience, working alongside an experienced graphic designer in our friendly local charity. With many fundraising events throughout the year, there are always exciting opportunities to design engaging and imaginative branding, formatting for different print and digital media such as printed banners, print adverts, social media and more. See your designs out in the world!
The ideal candidate will be studying a creative course and looking to build their portfolio between their studies. Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud programmes, namely Adobe Illustrator is essential. We are looking for someone with availability for approximately 2-3 days per week, for 4-6 weeks over the summer holidays, by agreement. This placement is based in Castletown and equipment will be provided. This position is for someone over the age of 18.
