Employment Type: Full-time or Part-time (flexible arrangements considered). These roles are employed via Native (Employer of Record) on behalf of Anne Health, on a permanent contract
Location: EU-based employed outside of the UK working remotely in telehealth roles supporting patients accessing gender-affirming care
Registration: Requires current registration with relevant nursing register/body
Reports To: Care Team Manager
Salary: 37-40,000 euro per annum full time (35 hours per week)
Hours: full-time/part-time, flexible/fixed schedule
This role requires nursing registration with an EU member state regulatory body. We are unable to consider candidates whose primary registration is within the UK.
Key Responsibilities
Patient Communication & Support
- Respond to patient queries with clinical accuracy and a compassionate, affirming approach
- Share pertinent clinical education resources to patients and families as needed
- Provide injection education and ongoing injection support for patients self-administering medication
Clinical Administration & Inbox Management
- Monitor and action emails assigned to you
- Check and action EMR tasks assigned to you; distribute tasks among the team as needed
- Review lab results in alignment with clinical protocol(s) and send the appropriate medical letter to patients
- Review patient progress updates and follow up as clinically indicated
Prescriptions & Medication Coordination
- Arrange prescription requests across relevant platforms (Clynxx, Smartway, offshore), following internal processes as guided by Gender-Affirming Care Prescriber(s)
- Send prescription request letter templates for upcoming prescriptions
Workflow & Quality Management
- Identify cases that are appropriate to bring for discussion at case conferences and contribute to multidisciplinary team review
- Support continuous improvement of clinical workflows in collaboration with the prescriber pool
In addition to the responsibilities outlined above, the role may involve additional duties as reasonably directed, consistent with the scope, level, and expectations of the role.
Qualifications & Requirements
Essential
- Registered nurse with a valid, unrestricted EU-based licence, outside of the UK
- Experience in a clinical nursing role; experience in endocrinology, sexual health, or general practice is advantageous
- Strong organisational skills and ability to manage a busy, multi-strand workload independently
- Confidence using digital health platforms and electronic health records (experience with Semble is an advantage)
- Excellent written communication skills in English
- Commitment to non-judgmental, affirming care for trans, non-binary, and gender-diverse patients
Desirable
- Prior experience in gender-affirming care or LGBTQ+ health services
- Familiarity with informed-consent models of care
- Experience coordinating prescriptions across multiple pharmacy platforms
- Proficiency in additional EU languages
