Join our welcoming and passionate Fundraising & Marketing team at White Lodge, a charity where inclusion, dignity, and opportunity are at the heart of everything we do. As the Fundraising and Marketing Assistant, you will:

  • Support the delivery of fun, inclusive, and impactful fundraising events
  • Create engaging social media content and supporter communications
  • Build meaningful relationships with donors and community partners
  • Get involved in the day-to-day charity campaigns and activities
  • Contribute ideas and learn within a friendly, supportive team
  • Experience the full 360° fundraising and events lifecycle, from raffle tickets to event planning and delivery
  • Authentically grow our social media presence through engaging, consistent, and creative content
  • Provide administrative support across the department’s varied tasks throughout the year

What you’ll bring: A collaborative approach, a willingness to learn, and an openness to developing new skills. Strong communication and organisational abilities. An interest in creating engaging social media or marketing content. Confidence using Microsoft Office or similar tools, and most importantly, a genuine enthusiasm for connecting with people and contributing to a team with purpose.

Previous fundraising or charity experience is a bonus, but not essential, we’ll support you to grow. We’re more than just a workplace, we’re a community. About White Lodge

White Lodge enables disabled individuals of all ages (along with their families and carers) to live fulfilling lives. We support over 2,500 people across Surrey through a wide range of services that span all life stages and abilities. Our beautiful site in Chertsey houses three purpose-built buildings offering facilities such as physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech and language therapy, hydrotherapy, a specialist nursery, holiday clubs, fitness classes, short breaks, and rehabilitation. Our activity-based support includes art, baking, swimming, outings, and more. All designed to empower people to thrive.

Please note:
Many of our community fundraising events take place off-site, so having a full driving licence and access to a vehicle is ideal. If you don’t drive, being based locally and able to travel independently to events is essential.

Benefits

Salary: £24,000–£27,000 per year
Hours: Full-time (36 hrs/week) with flexible working options. Some evening and weekend work required on an ad hoc basis.
Location: White Lodge, Chertsey (KT16 0FA)
Enhanced holiday entitlement of 30 days + bank holidays
