Job Title: Fund Administration Manager
Reports to: Senior Manager

We are Guernsey’s venture capital specialists and our Fund Administration team work closely with our clients to provide a best-in-class service in the highly competitive, fast paced venture capital environment. Due to the nature of venture capital, we are exposed to a wide variety of unique and exciting opportunities meaning that no two days are the same.

About this role:
The Fund Administration Manager acts as a client lead for the day-to-day administration of a portfolio of clients under the direction of a Senior Manager. The successful candidate for this role will be expected to oversee and review client deliverables across their portfolio as well as providing coaching, training, and support to the team.

Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and co-ordinate the administration for a portfolio of clients (including VC funds, management companies and associated fund vehicles), including liaising with clients and third parties.

• Act as an “A” level 4-eyes signatory on administration matters, ensuring policies and procedures are adhered to and that a high standard of service is provided to clients and third parties.

• Oversee and review deliverables for all aspects of the fund’s operations, including investment transactions, payments, receipts, and investor transactions.

• Co-ordinate and oversee complex areas of fund operations including the set-up and licensing of new entities, applications to tax authorities and collation of due diligence documents.

• Oversee the maintenance of statutory records and ensure the timely filing of regulatory and statutory filings.

• Supervise and assist in the training and development of staff, leading by example.

• Manage the performance development process for all direct reports.

• Attend to other ad-hoc client requests or other duties as required by the team, including leading on project work.

• Strong computer literacy and problem-solving skills are essential.

Qualifications and expertise:
• Hold a recognised professional qualification such as CGI (ICSA), ACCA, ACA and/or a minimum of 6 years relevant experience in fund administration.

• Demonstratable knowledge of technical financial services matters including GFSC regulations, the Protection of Investors law and anti-money laundering regulations.

• A minimum of 2 years’ experience in people management
