| Duration: | Permanent
| Location: | Thurso

Salary: TBA

At Denchi Power, we offer an environment where your talents will be nurtured, and your ideas will have a real impact. We are seeking a Fulfilment Planning Analyst to join our dynamic team.

With over 20 years of expertise in designing and manufacturing batteries from our base in Thurso, Scotland, we proudly serve blue chip customers in defence, security, aerospace, oil and gas, and renewables markets. We are entering a new phase of growth and we need exceptional talent to grow alongside us.

As a Production Fulfilment Analyst at Denchi, you will help ensure our customer orders are delivered on time by making sure production is set up for success. From planning material availability to coordinating production schedules and updating the system with real-world feedback, you will help improve how we manage and move materials through the business.

You will work within the procurement function but act as a key link between production, customer service and stores. You will ensure that shortages are picked up early, materials are fit for purpose, and production data is accurate — before, during, and after each build. When something goes wrong, you will not just fix it — you will help improve the underlying system or process, such as correcting lead times, Bills of Materials (BOMs), or scheduling logic.

This role is well suited to someone early in their career, such as a recent graduate, who enjoys problem-solving, learning how systems fit together and making improvements that others can rely on. We will support your development and help you grow into a key player in our operations team.

Job Responsibilities:

Procurement and Production Fulfilment Support
·    Review manufacturing picklists and confirm material availability, including expiry checks on adhesives and encapsulants.
·    Assist in raising purchase orders for any required materials during busy periods.
·     Liaise directly with suppliers to confirm delivery dates of open purchase orders and expedite if needed.
·     Assist with closing out work orders accurately, ensuring system data matches what was actually built.
·     Record and escalate fulfilment issues or material risks before they affect output.

Schedule and Contract Integration
·     Add newly accepted contracts into the production schedule using capacity and lead time assumptions.
·     Coordinate with production, customer service, and engineering to ensure plans are realistic and achievable.
·    Adjust dates and priorities where needed to protect on-time delivery.

Root Cause and Process Improvement
·    Investigate fulfilment problems and track down the root cause — from incorrect lead times to errors in the Bill of Materials.
·   Suggest and make improvements to planning data to avoid repeat issues.
·   Capture lessons learned from each production run to improve future scheduling and kitting.

Inventory and Warehouse Coordination
·    Liaise with stores to ensure kits are accurate, labelled, and complete.
·   Monitor stock availability and help resolve picking or kitting issues.
·    Ensure traceability and correct use of expiry-sensitive materials.

Cross-Functional Collaboration
·   Facilitate weekly planning and production readiness reviews.
·   Coordinate input from planning, procurement, stores, and customer service to keep work on track.
·   Provide visibility on shortages, changes, and improvement actions.

Reporting & Continuous Improvement
·   Maintain logs of issues and actions and share updates with relevant stakeholders.
·   Track fulfilment performance and support reporting on schedule adherence and material availability.
·   Support improvement projects focused on data accuracy, process efficiency, and delivery reliability.

Skills and Experience - Essential
·    Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
·    Analytical mindset — enjoys solving problems and following them through.
·   Able to communicate clearly and work well with others across departments.
·   Comfortable using business systems and data tools (e.g. Excel, planning software, ERP platforms).
·   Willingness to learn, ask questions, and take ownership of tasks.

Skills and Experience - Desirable
·   Experience (including placement or internship) in a manufacturing, operations, or supply chain setting.
·   Understanding of planning principles or supply chain basics.
·  Familiarity with manufacturing documents such as pick-lists, stock records, or BOMs.
·   Interest in building a career in production planning, procurement, or operations.

Full time standard hours of work are Monday-Thursday 8am to 5pm, Friday 8am to 1230pm.
