Stepping Stones Financial Planning LLP / Stepping Stones Financial Solutions Ltd are a friendly and well-established IFA firm, based in Desford, Leicestershire. 

We have an excellent opportunity for an experienced Financial Services Administrator to join our team!

This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our firm and would suit someone with solid mortgage / pension administration experience who enjoys working in a client-focused, busy environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong organisational and communication skills, with a solid understanding of administrative processes within the financial sector.

Responsibilities

  • Provide full administrative support for mortgage, protection and pension/investment cases.
  • Liaise with advisers, lenders, providers, solicitors and estate agents to progress cases.
  • Prepare suitability reports for mortgages and protection cases.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients, addressing inquiries and resolving issues promptly. 
  • Utilise Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and Outlook, to create documents & spreadsheets. 
  • Collaborate with team members to improve administrative processes and enhance overall efficiency. 
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and standards within the financial services sector. 

Qualifications / Experience

  • Minimum 1 year's recent mortgage or pension administration experience.
  • Understanding of mortgage, protection & pension administration processes.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and CRM systems.
  • Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members. 
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while adhering to deadlines. 
  • Effective time management skills to prioritise tasks appropriately in a fast-paced environment.
