Excellent opportunity for an experienced Financial Controller to join a small PE backed fast growing Claims Management business to oversee all Financial aspects and lead a small team

What will you be responsible for:
Reporting directly into the CFO as a number 2, you will be responsible for overseeing all day to day Finance operations of the business as well as developing and leading a small Finance Team including but not limited to:
- Overseeing the Financial reporting processes including budgeting, KPI production, cashflow analysis and Management Accounts process.
- Oversee all day to day finance operations including General Ledger, accounts payable/receivable and payroll.
- Analysis of financial data to identify trends and make recommendations to improve financial performance
- Develop and maintain financial policies and procedures to support the growth and compliance of the business
- Ensuring the business is compliant with tax regulations and being responsible for statutory returns to HMRC, Companies House, FCA.
- Implementing, monitoring and improving the internal controls of the business to reduce risk.
- Oversee and manage the year end audit process with Statutory auditors
- Assist the CFO with producing the long-range business forecasts for the Group
What we need from you:
- A qualified Accountant who has previously been a Finance Manager or Controller and is looking for the challenge working for a fast growing business
- Strong Team management skill and a high level of organization and planning
- Advanced Excel skills and strong ability to manipulate large blocks of data
- Self-motivated, Proactive and detail orientated.
