Esports Events & Community Manager (Client Operations)

Focus Region: Europe (EU) initially, with future expansion to North America (NA)
Contract: Full time, Fixed term 12 months (with hope of extension)

About Endpoint Esports
Endpoint Esports LTD is a leading UK business in esports. We are currently looking for a highly organised and experienced professional to take on a key project management role. Reporting directly to, and working closely with, our Head of Events at Endpoint Group / UKIC, you will serve as the primary day-to-day point of contact for an established client, leading the operational delivery of a comprehensive new community and events ecosystem we are building and managing on their behalf.

About the Role
This role is a hands-on mix of community building, tournament operations, and day-to-day client management. You will take the lead on a major new community project for an established client. With the core foundations and structure already laid out by our team, you'll be able to step right in, take the reins, and focus on scaling it up.

Starting with a strict focus on the European (EU) market, you will strategise, launch, and manage recurring online events, build a highly engaged Discord community, and manage targeted promotional campaigns. You will not be doing this alone; you will be directly supported by Endpoint’s existing infrastructure, including our UKIC Head of Events and our in-house development team. Working offline at LAN events will also be a part of the role, as you will assist with project-specific live events.

Key Responsibilities

  • Project Management & Client Liaison: Act as the primary day-to-day point of contact for our key client. Manage the overarching community strategy alongside the Head of Events and ensure contractual milestones are met.
  • Community Engagement & Event Promotion: Assist with the client’s community channels (Discord, X/Twitter) to specifically highlight and promote our grassroots efforts and tournament schedule, working alongside our team and freelancers to do this.
  • Tournament Operations: Set up and execute a schedule of recurring online community events across the EU region. Coordinate with the admin team to ensure smooth delivery, rule enforcement, and prompt prize distribution.
  • Platform Collaboration: Work closely with our in-house development team to advise on the roll-out of the client’s new community platform.
  • Offline & LAN Event Support: Assist in the organisation and execution of offline/LAN events throughout the year, including managing player logistics.
  • Content & Promotion: Work alongside ad agencies to manage promotional campaigns and ensure a steady stream of engaging content around the community events.

Requirements (Must-Haves)

  • Community Building: Proven experience in building, scaling, and managing gaming communities.
  • Event Management: A strong track record in esports event management, covering end-to-end event setup to finish.
  • Highly Organised: Exceptional project management skills. You must be able to juggle client communications, event schedules, and cross-team collaboration without dropping the ball.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, comfortable chatting day-to-day with the community and presenting formal updates to client stakeholders.
  • Flexibility: Sometimes hours may differ from the traditional 9-5. We offer flexibility with hours, but the job will also require this at times.

Nice to Haves (Desirable)

  • Staff Management: Experience managing event admins and freelance personnel.
  • Design Skills: Practical experience using Adobe Creative Suite or Canva.
  • Broad Esports Interest: While Counter-Strike is the primary focus to start with, an interest in and working knowledge of other key esports titles is highly desirable for future project expansion.

What We Offer

  • The opportunity to lead the day-to-day operations of a high-profile project.
  • Direct support and mentorship from the UKIC Head of Events, seasoned esports veterans, and technical developers.
  • A dynamic, fast-paced working environment at one of the UK's premier esports organisations.
