The Role
BIRD is seeking a creative, proactive Digital Content Creator to shape how the Conservatoire comes to life online. This is a hands-on role for someone who can spot a story, pick up a camera and take an idea all the way from concept to finished content.
You will film and edit rehearsals, performances, classes, interviews, student life and behind-the-scenes activity; create social-first content and recurring series; produce day-to-day graphics and advertising assets in Canva; manage the Conservatoire’s social media schedule and community engagement; and support routine website content and digital campaign needs.
You will need demonstrable videography and editing experience, a strong portfolio or examples of relevant work, experience creating content for platforms such as Instagram and TikTok, confidence using professional editing software, and practical Canva experience. Just as importantly, we are looking for someone who brings ideas: a self-starting storyteller who can proactively plan and execute content rather than waiting for a brief.
This is a predominantly on-site role in Sidcup (normally 4 days on site), where access to BIRD's studios, performances and community is central to the job. Occasional evening and weekend work will be required to capture key productions and events.
