We’re looking for an experienced Delivery Operations Manager with a strong background in professional services (ideally penetration testing) and a proven track record in managing client engagements and service delivery. You will be responsible for overseeing the delivery of professional services, ensuring high-quality service, and optimising resources.
This opportunity requires someone with excellent organisational skills, a proactive approach to client management, and the ability to act as a primary escalation point for issues. You will work closely with the broader business to ensure the successful delivery of our services.
What you’ll be doing
This role is based in the Professional Services team and reports directly to the Head of Professional Services. You will lead the delivery operations, ensuring smooth execution of client engagements and optimal resource management.
Duties and responsibilities:
- Schedule and manage client engagements, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of services.
- Conduct proactive outreach to clients, maintaining strong relationships and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to senior management, identifying areas for improvement and ensuring targets are met.
- Act as the primary escalation point for client issues, effectively resolving challenges and maintaining client confidence.
- Optimise workloads and resource allocation, ensuring efficient use of team members and outsourced partners.
- Manage relationships with outsourced partners, ensuring they meet our quality standards and deliver on commitments.
- Develop and implement processes to improve delivery efficiency and client satisfaction.
- Collaborate with sales and technical teams to ensure seamless client onboarding and engagement.
Skills and experience
You will need to demonstrate hands-on experience in delivery operations within the cybersecurity sector. The following list is indicative of skills which would be considered relevant and transferable but not exhaustive.
Essential:
- At least three years of experience in a delivery operations role within a cybersecurity or professional services environment.
- Proven track record in managing client engagements and delivering high-quality services.
- Strong organisational and project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
- Experience in reporting on KPIs and implementing process improvements.
- Ability to act as a primary escalation point for client issues, resolving challenges effectively.
- Experience in managing and optimising workloads and resource allocation.
- Familiarity with managing outsourced partners and ensuring quality delivery.
Desirable:
- Experience as a penetration testing scheduler or delivery operations analyst.
- Understanding of various delivery models and experience working in multiple organisations.
Relevant industry certifications in programme or project management.
