We are looking for friendly and hardworking Cook to join our team. At Grittleton Adventures we offer schools an outdoor activity packed residential trip. Throughout each day they will take part in a whole range of adventurous and team building activities. After building up a huge appetite they will be provided with three meals a day. 

Our Cook will be responsible for preparing and cooking lunch and evening meal for 200 children plus supervising adults per meal. Once a shift is over, they will need to clean down and assist with cleaning all utensils. In addition to meal service, our Cook will also be required to create a child friendly menu that caters for dietary requirements and that can be prepared in our limited kitchen. They will also need to be able to manage stock levels and organise regular food orders, ensuring minimal waste. 

This role will be customer facing during service and therefore candidates will need to be able to communicate in a friendly and welcoming manner to both children and adults. As a small team we also require flexibility within their duties and be wiling to help other teams at busy times.

 

Hours of Work: 

Full Time: Monday to Thursday 10am to 8pm

Flexibility is required for the occasional weekend work aswell.
