At INASP, we are committed to providing freely accessible online courses for early-career researchers in the Global South, hosted on the Moodle platform.  To support our course delivery, we are seeking consultants with specialised expertise in Moodle whom we can reach out to and contract for specific pieces of work as relevant consultancy opportunities arises. 

Our courses range from 3-week short courses to longer programmes spanning 6–8 weeks. In addition to the course delivery, INASP Moodle consultants will also perform preparatory work, post-course data analysis, and certification issuance. As such, the duration of each piece of work will vary based on the course requirements, typically lasting several weeks or months. 

What you’ll be doing:

As an INASP Moodle consultant, you will perform some or all of these tasks: 

  • Course development: support the creation of new courses using course designs by the INASP team, including developing activities with H5P and Moodle bootstrap elements  
  • Course support: assist INASP with the delivery of ongoing courses with tasks including participant enrolment, technical support, and certificate issuance (an INASP guide will be provided) 
  • Data collection and analysis: gather end-of-course data, including activity completion and survey results 
  • Technical assistance: provide tailored support to people not familiar with Moodle to run courses on the INASP Moodle platform 

In addition, all consultants will need to adhere to data protection and GDPR protocols as specified by INASP
