Join Gateway Qualifications as our Centre Compliance Lead, where you’ll play a pivotal role in ensuring our centres meet regulatory standards and learners receive the support they deserve.
In this role, you’ll lead investigations into malpractice and maladministration, manage centre withdrawals, unplanned centre closures (ensuring continuity for learners), appeals, and centre conflicts of interest. You’ll coordinate responses and communications to Centres and wider stakeholders and contribute to maintaining compliance with regulatory framework.
What We’re Looking For
We welcome applications from individuals with a range of backgrounds and experiences. If you bring curiosity, commitment, and a collaborative mindset, we’d love to hear from you. Ideally, you’ll have:
- Experience (typically around two years) in an awarding organisation (AO), Access Validating Agency (AVA), educational setting, or a compliance-related role. We also welcome relevant experience from other sectors.
- A strong track record in conducting investigations, particularly those involving malpractice or maladministration.
- Confidence in analysing and presenting both statistical and qualitative data.
- A degree-level qualification or equivalent experience, this could include legal, risk management, or other relevant professional qualifications.
This role involves occasional travel to our centres, particularly when conducting investigations. Flexibility to travel is important.
