Due to continued growth an exciting opportunity has arisen for a Cable Moulding Technician to join our Great Yarmouth base reporting to the Cable Moulding Supervisor.

The successful candidate will support the efficient operation of STR operations through providing insight into asset availability and performance.

Overall Purpose of the Job:
Working within our Product & Technology division, the Cable Moulding Technician role will be to support the Cable Moulding Planning Supervisor in achieving the overall team’s day to day objectives.

Principal Accountabilities:
1. Wiring, termination and moulding of cables and connectors to a very high standard in a fast-paced environment
2. Interpretation of wiring diagrams to complete tasks with excellent attention to detail
3. Correct use of electrical test equipment
4. Preparation of materials and parts used in cable manufacturing following company procedures
5. Inspection of cables and report generation following company procedures
6. Continue to build and expand knowledge of cable and connector types and processes
7. Consistently demonstrate the ability to observe and promote safe working practices
