The Business Services Assistant will provide valuable support to teams throughout the business to ensure efficient running of the company. You should be willing to learn from other team members and
receive off-site training wherever possible as well as sharing knowledge with other team members.

Main Duties, Responsibilities and Tasks Required of the Post:
• Supporting the HR function with administration duties in relation to management of new starters, employment checks, leavers process, absence management, keeping the HR tool up to date,
helping with the booking of training.
• Supporting the Management Team proactively in the scheduling of meetings/visits. Diary Management.
• The preparation of documents as required against tight time scales. This may include, but is not limited to typing, photocopying, collating, and binding. General filing & shredding.
• Be the face of the company in relation to managing reception duties and ensuring that visitors are welcomed in a friendly and professional manner.
• General office duties including but not limited to:-
o Cleaning and maintenance of office coffee machine
o Posting of letters and parcels
o Watering office plants and maintenance of living wall
o Assisting with setting up desks and phones for new starters
o Ordering fruit and milk for the office
o Dealing with paper recycling and confidential waste
• Ordering workwear for employees.
• Production of Operational and Maintenance manuals upon completion of projects.
• Preparation of Health and Safety files in line with project start date.
• Assisting with the organisation of company events.
• Management of internal marketplace facility.
• Supporting the procurement function and assisting with placing purchase orders.
• Any other duties as requested by the team.

Qualifications and Experience:
• Previous experience of office administration (preferable)
• Able to deliver numerous tasks with a quick turnaround and prioritise accordingly
• Experience of the construction industry is desirable
• IT literate with previous knowledge of Office365 (required) and SharePoint (desirable).
