What role are we looking to recruit?
We are looking to grow our Sales team and are looking for a Business Development Representative to join us. As a key member of our Sales function, you will support the existing five Account Directors within their accounts whilst also taking targeted campaigns to market. This position will be customer facing, representing the Account Directors on transactional deals and looking for upsell opportunities within the client base.
The BDR will also work closely with Reliance Cyber’s Marketing function to identify key targets to pro-actively contact with the goal of long-term pipeline generation.
This role is an excellent developmental opportunity to really get your teeth into a Sales role, have the chance to get involved with customer meetings and to receive coaching and mentorship from the wider team.
What will you be doing?
We have listed a few things that we believe will be at the heart of this role:
- Lead on deals transactional opportunities from quote to closure
- Work with marketing to identify new campaigns and key prospects
- Identify whitespace within existing clients during on-going communication
- Make proactive calls to prospective customers
- Own non-commercial queries utilising teamwork with the Customer Success team and other business units
- Support Account Director team in progressing larger deals and across their account base in general
Maintain and develop relationships within our vendors to drive engagement and opportunity
Why are you the right person for this role?
Experience in a sales role or team and experience within cyber security is highly desirable, which will be evidenced through your CV.
You’re a problem-solver, consultative in your approach, and like to roll your sleeves up and get involved in removing barriers and finding simple effective solutions. You’re a skilled communicator with the ability to manage internal resources while maintaining client’s expectations. Above all, you are a team player, hungry for the opportunity to progress in a sales environment.
